About Us
This chapter of Student Academy of Audiology was founded in 2020 by the inaugural class of the Doctorate of Audiology program at California State University, Sacramento. Student Academy of Audiology (SAA) is an academic club for Au.D. students and undergraduate students interested in pursuing a clinical doctorate in audiology.
Mission Statement
“The purpose of this organization is to serve as a collective voice for students and advance the rights, interests, and welfare of students pursuing careers in audiology. The Student Academy of Audiology introduces students to lifelong involvement in activities that promote and advance the profession of audiology and provides services, information, education, representation and advocacy for the profession and for the students and the public we serve.”

The American Academy of Audiology is a large professional organization which represents audiologists nationwide which supports professional development, education, research, and increased public awareness of hearing and balance disorders.
